database "name" already exist! error

hi! im new to vb2008, and im creating a sql database called SRMS and deleted it, and my problem is i cant make another database with the same database name. I have alredy removed the sql file from "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data" but still the same error pops up. please help, any post is appresiated. thank you very much for you help.:)

You removed the sql file but you didn't edit your config file. Since the PowWeb forum is for PowWeb customers and PowWeb hosting uses Linux and not Windows, you may not find much help here. You can try http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn and ask for more detailed instructions. It has been a while since I worked in VB.
