Search Google for a third party FTP program such as FileZilla, SmartFTP, CoreFTP or CuteFTP. The software company websites have instructions and screenshots to explain how to use the software. You will need the ftp server name which is ftp.powweb.com, the ftp username and password. You can create a new username and password in PowWeb's control panel (known here as OPS). If you can successfully connect to your PowWeb account, you can upload files. Note: You could also use the FileManager in OPS to upload files, but it is much easier to use the third party software to drag and drop files from your computer to the PowWeb server.
The software has a left pane that shows your local computer files and a right pane that shows the files on the web host server (after the connection has been made). Be sure to select the correct files and destinations. Your files should be uploaded to the main directory (folder) named htdocs (on PowWeb). Be sure to upload files as they appear in your template folder. That means if images are in a folder named images, be sure to upload the entire folder or create a folder and place images in that folder.
