I could have sworn I saw this somewhere on the forums before, but I just cant find it right now!
I used auto screenrecorder pro to do some video tutorials (its been about a year!). if I recall correctly, it saves an avi by default, and generates an swf if you ask for it. The avi's all came out fine, but some of the swf's turned into red screens. audio still plays fine even with the red screen.
SO, instead of recreating the tutorials, I thought it would be easiest to convert the avi's into swf's. the auto screenrecorder program does not appear to allow you to do this (dont see why not).
I did do a google search, and it seems like a ton of trialware out there. I found a free one called 'super', but when I went to run it the antivirus software flagged something as a trojan!
I saw ffmpeg, but I dont get it so much...
There's my story. anyone have any suggestions for converting avi to swf?
I suppose I could play the avi and re-capture the tutorial using the screen recording software, but I'd prefer just converting the file format :)
