Sound gets cut off on Video

Sometimes sound gets randomly cut off from YouTube and other video sites. I can still watch the video, but just no sound. Also, I can listen to mp3's on my computer so the problem isn't with my sound card.

When I clear my browser cache and restart my browser, the sound works again on Youtube and other video sites....but after maybe 15-20 minutes of watching random videos, the sound will get cut off again. Video still streams, but no sound. And, I have to then clear the cache, etc.

Does anyone know how I can prevent the sound from getting cut off? This is a recent, new problem....Never happened in the past :-X

Have you updated a sound driver recently? Try rolling back to a prevous version.

Nope, I did not update a sounddriver recently.

Any other ideas?

Try Increasing your virtual memory - pagefile size. Something like; Control Panel> System> Advanced tab> Performance settings.

Have you tried it in another browser?

I had trouble with IE at one time, but it worked fine in Chrome.
