Live streaming with camcorder

Hi everyone!

I'm a brand new webdeveloper. I want to create a site with a live webcam. I want to use a camcorder for the live streaming (was thinking about JVC EVERIO mg 630).

From previous posts I read that Powweb does not support live streaming!?

My question: Do I have to change to a different host only because I want to live stream videos twice a week??? Am I still able to somehow do it?? Maybe by using another host that specializes on live video streaming and incorporate it on my Powweb site?????

I am every thankful for any kind of advice!!!!

So I assume that it is possible to incorporate live video streaming anyways.

Could I simply use a program like this and incorporate it on my current webpage: http://www.coffeecup.com/webcam/

Or do I need to sign up with a special host like the link you posted?

Well you do need to 'sign up' with them. You can either use the 'web page' that is created for you there, or it can be incorporated into another site.

I wanted to create a membership area. In this member area I would like to have the live streaming cam.

1) So from how I understand it, I could sign up with this service provider and incorporate them in my Powweb website?

2) And another thing, the link you posted does not support adult content, that is a limitation which might be inconvenient... Any ideas of how I could work around that?

Once one is signed up, the live stream is made available both publicly and in the 'member area'. There is a chat thing too. The window with the live stream can also be incorporated into another website. They do not allow 'adult content', but I believe there is a link on their homepage to another 'adult oriented streamer'.
