Here we go again...I am wanting to learn how to take an audio file, most likley from a flip camera video recording "flip video from Best Buy" (we are hiding the video as we don't want to be seen) and turn it into an MP3 file for download.
In addition, we want to also turn that same audio file from the flip camera to a Podcast file.
Next, we desire to take those audio files and transcribe them into a PDF file.
Lastly, we invision taking one of the audio files and turning it into a computer spoken video for uploading to youtube.
I have seen examples of taking articles written on article submission sites and turning them into a video using a computer voice of your choice.
If anyone has had experience with this, can you please share your experiences.

You don't need software you need a good webmaster. :p
Xilsoft will do the first two. Most people hire a transcriptionist for the third. Be careful who you hire, often the really cheap guys can hardly speak english let alone spell accurately. I know a very good transcriptionist.
For the last one I'm not sure what you mean. Do you want to take advantage of Googe/YouTube's new search for text in video feature or re-rip an existing audio file into a computerised voice video file format? ie convert an mp3 to wmv. I think you'll find it's easier to create it using the transcription and a text reader/recorder.
I can do all of the above for you Allen.

Wow Croc, that was easier than I thought. Thanks.
As for the last one, I do want to take an audio file and turn it into a computerized voice video file format. Great for branding.
So, do I take the transcription and turn it into a text/reader recorder.
Cheers

Yeah run the transcription through something like Text Aloud (http://www.nextup.com/). It can generate an mp3 file from a wide range of text file types, email, web pages etc and there are several voice types to choose from. Then convert the mp3 to a video format again usiung Xilsoft and upload to YouTube. YouTube accepts WMV 3GP AVI MOV MP4 MPEG FLV SWF MKV. I suggest MPEG4 with the mp3 in Xilsoft for YouTube.

I am searching text aloud for different personalities in addition to different voices for a very funny, bubbly lady who is an author and is from the east coast with a type A personality and speaks very clear and direct. I have emailed the company asking for advice, knowing it does cost extra.
I am also experimenting with the flip video to email and youtube videos. Upon exporting the 23.4 mb video which was all of 21 seconds, it seem much to large of an mpeg format.
You tube loves mpeg but to attach the file using yahoo to email to my friend, it took forever.
Any suggestions?

I was able to save somehow the 35 mb flip video to windows movie maker and have it come out to 4.5 mb. This is good.
However, my software that came with the flip video is different from the software that I have seen on tutorials searching youtube.
Does anyone know of a manual or tutorial that flip video puts out on how to save, edit, and upload to youtube and email converting to the smallest file format and size?
Thanks for the help. Allen
