Okay, I have uploaded several flip videos to youtube. Now, I would like to have a jpeg from my hard drive appear in the window of the video so that jpeg shows on youtube with my voice in the background. I have gone through the flip video tutorial and it only explains how to capture screen shots of the video and turn that into the background. So, my question is how to import a jpeg and make that the screen shot for viewers to see when they hear my voice. Hope I explained it correctly. Thanks

This is the reply from flip video support: "There isn't an option within the FlipShare program to be able to perform that feature.; So, how can I create that screen shot of my branding jpeg to be the video and still hear the audio portion. Shall I change the output flip format to quick time as windows movie maker does not support mpeg4 and then import to windows movie maker? And then would I be able to drag a jpeg into the timeline to cover the video and still hear the audio? This is a key learning process and would love some help. (I just got promoted to International CTO and want to live up to my expectations. Thanks for your help.

mpeg-4 to quick time to windows movie maker, how can I change the video from showing and replacing my branded jpeg into the timeline, keeping the audio? wow.

You can set an initial image to display for the video using YouTube's control panel.

Thanks Croc. The only challenge is the video I took is blurry and a screen shot is not that appealing. So, I might down load media coder and convert mpeg4 to another format to then import to windows movie maker? Would that work? Also, media coder states they rip audio from video which is another process I need. Has anyone used media coder 6.0 to accomplish this?

Perhaps I'm mistaken. In YouTube's control panel you can upload an initial image to display from your computer, in your case this would be your branding.jpg

O, that would certainly make life easier if I just uploaded that branded jpeg at the youtube control pannel. Actually, that is very clever of youtube. I will check ot out. Thank you.

I have successfully downloaded media coder and imported my original flip video mpeg4. I then converted it to windows media audio file through windows movie maker and it cut out the video portion and left me with the audio. Then, I created titles and credits in cool font and color and background. I then imported the branded jpeg and it came out really cool. My question is what settings do I set the media coder and what settings do I set the windows movie maker to compress the video (went from 291MB mpeg to 5 MB) using the AVI for the container in media coder and used the default settings for windows movie maker. Is this good for youtube uploading? Not bad for a newbiee:p
