is there some reason, other than totally idotice behavior from Powweb, that my CGI Guestbook will not work?

Is there somethning Imust do? I am getting a "No authorization" error and I have made no changes to the page today. It followed the disaster on space that has been going on, unanswered, for several days now....

no authorization = permissions issue
idotice?

It started when this server went down. I assume it is back up now, but I cannot figure out why it stopped working as far as my guestbook is concerned?

I am not an expert at this so I assume if no changes were made by me then the changes must have been made on Powweb's end.

This was discussed in the cgi forum if you look in your cgi bin the problem may be that there is a mysterious little htaccess file inside that was not there before. Alot of people have been finding it and having that same issue.

Hope it helps just delete it if it is there.

I got t working. Deleted the htaccess file and changed the permissions back as they were (do not know how they were ever changed to begin with) and everything is working!

Hi there...

My main site is going...

My sub-domain is going..

sub2.domain is going (this is a CGI Script)
sub3.domain is *NOT* going - This is an exact copy of the cgi script in sub2 - im testing / making changes etc...

What I get is "timed-out" / "server not found" etc..

I'll rather get an error message of some sort,

has anyone else got this problem ? one subdomain going & another not going ?

I'll re-check my htaccess - however I think it is correct..
