I updated and uploaded my website using Flash and it shows up in Internet Explorer but not Firefox. I contacted the company that hosts my site and this is what the representative told me:

"Entire site loads properly in IE every single file loads correctly in Firefox except index.html file including flash file (.swf extension)

So it has to be something in the index.html file which is causing Firefox to reject loading properly possibly a coding issue or something in index.html file"

I am a beginner at all of this and need help figuring out what the problem could be and also how to solve it.. any suggestions?

Are you hosted by PowWeb?

Did you use the EMBED and OBJECT tags to play the Flash file? Do you have the proper DOCTYPE in your source code? Is this a static HTML page or is the Flash embedded in a dynamic web page from a CMS? Did you upload your Flash file to the correct location or use the correct path? Did you try an absolute URL to call the Flash file?

Please include a link to the page or the source code used to embed Flash. The page would be more helpful, so we can see the environment. I don't think the web host matters as much.

This is kind of funny. I switched from IE to Firefox because too many sites wouldn't work in IE (well, it was IE6). Anyway, I've never heard of a site not working at all in Firefox.
In my humble opinion, Firefox ROCKS. But I digress...
I agree, post the link to the site!
