I converted a 200 mb mpeg-4 video from my flip camera (3.3 minutes long) to avi using media encoder and it went down in size to 5.5 mb. The only problem is, the video was lost and I was left with the audio. Is there a way to take an mpeg-4 and shrink it where the video and audio are entact? Can use any free program. Thanks out there. Allen

There's this thing called Google. You could try searching there. :D

That's funny. Google is great, I just thought if someone had more expertise than little ole me, it could be explained. My dyslexia sometimes prevents me from grasping seemingly simple tasks and making it a mountain to climb.

I was able to plow through the mountains of information and for anyone else with this issue, here is the solution. Flip video HD has a shrink feature where you go to the bottom of the flip software window, you click on "share this video" and then select share with another site. Keep folowing next, and it not only saves to a folder on your desk top, it shrunk it from 205BM AVI file to 37.5 WMV, window media player. Then I posted it on www.rapid share.com, and my coach was able to view and save it to his computer. Pretty cool for an OG. (Original gangsta old guy)
Thanks for helping me climb the mountain. Allen
