Installed WP through Install Central, but mydomain.com does not seem to be pointing correctly. It just says "This Site is Under Development". Checked Domain Pointing Manager, and my domain is pointing to htdocs, like it should.
Here is how it is set up when I view it in Filezilla
Top Folder is "/"
Next Folder Underneath is "htdocs", with "stats" directly underneath.
Underneath "htdocs", are the following: cgi-bin, includes, wp-admin, wp-content, wp-includes...
I have a theme installed, and I was able to see the main site a week ago (can't remember how I got there!), but now I am stumped...
Should I just delete all the files and start over (I had just starting setting up the blog - no real content in there).
Thanks for any help.
An internal flag is maintained by Powweb on Install Central so they know that you've installed the WP application. Simply deleting the files won't remove the flag. Don't just delete the files.

OK -- thanks. That said, can you identify what my problem is? (I have tried adding the file extension to my url in my address window, but I can't get to my main page of my theme...
I forgot to mention, that below the "htdocs" and "stats" folder, there is a file called .membership. Is this my problem? is that supposed to be there??

Not sure if your still having an issue.
It looks like you might have gotten the issue fixed
The url I suspect you are talking about is http://centralohiohomesource.com/
It appears to have a nice wordpress site up and running on it.
That is unless you were expecting something different to come up than the site that's there now.

Thanks for the compliment on MY site. This is actually a site that I was working on for a friend of mine : http://happymediumsart.com
The install went ok when I had originally installed it, with the default theme. I had added some content, then changed to a different theme, now I can't figure out what my problem is--I am VERY new to building sites, and no expert in any of these skills...

The site is another one, that I was working on for a friend of mine: happymediumsart.com.
It had originally installed correctly, and the default theme worked fine...then I added a bit of content, changed the theme, and must have done something, as I have my current troubles.

Hmm,
Ill try and play this back as I understand it
happymediumsart.com is a new site that you setup.
You installed wordpress without any issues.
Added content and a theme and suddenly it stoped working.
I took a look at the account and there are folders for word press in the account. But none of the php files like index.php are in the account.
I assume they must have been deleted by mistake so I checked the backups. Unfortunately though I could not find any of the files we need in our backups. So Im assuming the wordpress site has always been broken like this(unlikely), or that those files were accidentally deleted some time ago and have been rotated out of our backups due to age.
It looks as though the only way to restore the site will be for you to upload a copy of the files if you happen to have downloaded them via ftp at some point.
There is one other option that may work. If the database for wordpress is still there and intact. I could install a fresh copy of wordpress some where else. Then copy the files from that wordpress install into your account. Modify the config.php to connect to your wordpress database. Then the site should come back. It will have the original default theme though.

Dbrazzell -- Thanks for the reply -- I had just started working on that site, and didn't back up or download anything on it.
If you could install a fresh copy somewhere, that would be fantastic. Then point me to a quick explanation of how to copy those files over.
I don't mind the original theme at all --
Thanks.

HI,
I went ahead and did the new installation/copying of the files for you.
It only took me a few minutes
The website appears to be working somewhat again at http://happymediumsart.com/
It looks like if you reupload the theme you had install things should be back to the way they were. I wasn't able to change the theme back to the default. Also it doesn't appear as though I can login to the wp-admin area. Might be an issue related to the missing theme data

Should I be able to login to WP admin (dashboard) at this point?
I typed in http://happymediumsart.com/wp-login.php, and was able to type in the username/psswd, but then I go to a blank screen...
Does that mean that WP is not completely installed?

Sounds like incorrect permissions on a folder or file, like config.php is 666.
If you want tro PM me an FTP user/pass I'll take a look.

Solved. For anyone following, don't set your Wordpress base url to http://www.domain.com/wp-admin/.
