FTP problems

I am trying to create another user for ftp. I went to ftp, created a user and password and gave them full access to my directory. I see their username under additional ftp accounts but when they go to login, it says authentication failed. What am I doing wrong?

It may take a little while before the new FTP user is activated. I don't think it is immediate. Give a little while and try to log in again.

Its already been 2 days, today is going on 3. I've added users before without any problems and got immediate access.

Try deactivating and then delete. Then add again. Something may have gone wrong. It happens.
