Hi. Graphics would be a really fun feild for me to go into, but I hate drawing. I wouldn't want to draw cartoons. I'd want to do more 3D things, like using math and stuff. Do you have to know how to draw to take the computer classes in college?

I can draw on paper but nothing like what I can do on the screen...I do a lot of concept sketches on paper to get a general idea of layout but other than that i can't really draw too well on paper.

I'm in agreement with TERRELL here. If you have imagination, and the desire to draw, the sky's the limit.

My old art teacher told me 40 years ago, that I had the artistic talent of a tadpole, and I still can't draw on paper to save my life.

Using vector images you can create anything in this world, if you have the time and patience.

I find it easier to create an outline out of basic geometric shapes: Circles, triangles, squares, etc.

I've put a very rough example of how I do this here (http://www.bad-hair-day.com/havoc/)

The drawing is of my favourite dog of all time, and I hope it will give one or two frustrated artists a bit of encouragement and enthusiasm.

If you want to do 3D, there are committed 3D graphic packages, but, using vector images, you can create some great 3D effects using shadows and light.

Neat website you have, by the way.
