favicons

This is rather unimportant.... but one of those things that just bugs the crap out of me till I figure it out...

I put a favicon on my site so that I would have a customized icon rather than the default in the browser bar. It shows up fine for a week or more then just dissappears. The code is still there and the image file is still there.

The index page is a flash open - if you don't want to load the flash page, add /pageone

Thanks for the report.

Now after being MIA for 2 days, the favicon is showing up again for me. Must be something relating to my specific pc - but I still have no idea why it does that.

This is normal. It is the browser that is defaulting back to the favorites icon. You will see it come and go and this will happen for most users.

i'm pretty sure the favicons are stored in IE's Temp Internet Folder so if you clear your cache, all the favicons are deleted..
