Renaming my MYSQL database

Is it possible for me to rename my MYSQL database something other than the default name it was given when I had it activated?

If so, can anyone please tell me how ?

Also as there is no telnet facility available, is it possible to perform the same actions achieved through commands such as:

mysql -e "flush priviledges"

You cannot rename your database name or username at this time.
