Inorder to "Sue" Powweb, you have to be able to provide "Proof" of loss of income and it has to be a significant amount. Most won't bother, and they know it.

The best thing to do is find a new web hosting provider and have it done and over with. No, I am not associated with Powweb. But I listen to Handle on the law, a talk radio station, who discussed a similiar situation. If you can proove significant losses, then you'll have a case. No, I am not a lawyer either but I do listen.

When my client fires me because their Website is down in the middle of their fundraiser, BELIEVE ME, there will be PLENTY of lost income. As for negligence: I think telling customers that they are going to pull the plug on a Friday afternoon at 5pm is plenty of negligence. This didn't have to be done. It's like elective surgery!!! It's something that could have been coordinated better, and we could have been notified WELL in advance. My client's Website is down again this morning and this is UNACCEPTABLE! I REGRET EVER GOING WITH POWWEB. I HOPE THIS COMPANY, WHICH HAS SOME OF THE WORST TECH SUPPORT OUT THERE, GOES OUT OF BUSINESS.

marsradio, I am not arguing with you and I do agree with you.

But, in order to make the big case, there has to be proof of sufficient losses of income. Feel free to ivestigate what I state as again, I follow a legal talk show hosted by two different attorneys, and it all boils down to actual losses according to them.

So yes, If you lose money, then do what you need to for yourself.

Again, I agree with you in regards to their service, their management expertise.
