I can't get to my site http://www.wavebaseball.com , so I went to nslookup, and it can find the IP address. If I ping the ip address, it returns COMET, and times out.

ANYBODY KNOW FOR SURE?

Your site is loading fine here at Miami.
The DNS cached by your ISP is still outdated. Maybe waiting for another couple of hours they could update the DNS.
Hope this help.

nolamad,

From the about page,

My first game, I took about 20 or 30 pictures, and published them on my personal website. I did this for another 2 games, publishing pictures of each game.

comet and your site is up.

We have stopped and started our DNS here (we are an educational instituion), and it is still pulling up the old address, not the new. Our best guess is that at this time, one of the ROOT dns servers still has the old address, and it will just take some time for it to get filtered out.

My site is on comet too and not working! I can't see wavebaseball.com either. I doubt it is a DNS problem this time, as I was able to see my site just fine after the powweb upgrade. I had no DNS problems. All I get now is a 'cannot find server' page :(

Try this,

and see if your site will come up.

Nope....doesn't work for me. I can see http://comet.powweb.com/ works though. I can't see it being a DNS issue when my site has been viewable for me since the upgrade. Except of course for the hours of downtime everyone experienced yesterday. Hmmm....

Deb,

Could I ask were are you located?
We are able to see you site just fine here at Miami and at our offices in Spain and Brazil.

Thanks Sergio for checking :) I'm in Ontario, Canada and I can see now my site is receiving hits alright, but I'm still not able to see it. I was able to see my site since Monday, even edit and view the changes I made while editing...and now today I can't :(

My website partner who also lives in Ontario, had the DNS problems throughout Monday and part of Tuesday but those have been resolved for her now. I won't know till later today if she can see our site or not, she's out all day.

Any ideas from anyone why I can't see the site now?

Deb
