Hi there, hope you are all fine.

does any one know if i can set my email account to refuse any email coming from a particular email address.
Some bastard is sending me treats on my email and i would like to stop him.

Thanks

There is no way to do that within your Powweb mail system, however most email clients have ways to filter email.

If you are using Outlook Express, you would want to set up a "Rule" to delete that persons emails and you can even set it to "delete from server" - meaning that you would never even see the email, it would be deleted instead of being downloaded.

Maybe you should check out Mailwasher. I've found it to work fine. It will check your mail, warn you of possible spam & let you check off the emails that you don't want. Hit process mail & it will bounce the mail back so it looks like there is no mailbox with that name & then delete it.

You could even set it to look for some addressess like the person causing your problem so that when it receives one it will bounce & delete it without you even knowing it was sent.

After checking your mail with mailwasher you can then click a button & it will bring up your defult email program. Very easy.

Here is the link: http://www.mailwasher.net

I believe you should be using mail.yoursitename.com for both pop & smtp

You also need to check Authentication Required

I am getting :

Connection timeout (possibly caused by a firewall)

Do u know if it can be used from behind a firewall?
