I haven't done any installs of Vbulletin on Powweb servers so I don't know which scripts need alterations.

What happens with the two files that you mentioned? 500 error? What? That will help determine what the problem is.

Having just setup PHP Nuke on Pow's servers it's critical as to what files you are using that need the path to PHP at the top. The only way we might be able to assist is if we have access to your server to view the files. If you wish, private message me with your access info and i'll take a look.

Please cut and paste the error you're getting.

rammstein , I took a look at your forum to see why those two modules you mentioned, announcement.php and avatar.php, may not be working.

Both of those make reference to a required file called 'global.php'. If they aren't working it may be due to the fact that the 'global.php' needs to have the permissions set and/or the #! line at the top. Try that and post the results.

FYI, I joined your forum and everything else seems to work ok.

uhh wrong

wont work if i change the global.php.. cause then on all the pages topes.. you will see the #! thing on top.. so sucky..

it kinda weird.. that nobody has the answer..

and even weirder that this vbulletin version is running on a normal PHP version.. (if i am right..).. so kinda weird that what you host.. is on a sucky PHP version..
