    Centering images in dreamweaver

Hello! I am a novice web designer and novice dreamweaver user...I have two images on my site I would like to center, but I cannot find how to do it! I tried looking in help, but the topics did not apply to me...how do you center an image on the screen? I know this is pretty noobish of me, but i thought in the design editor you could drag and drop images whereever you need them...is this not true?

you can center using the center icon (like in word) which is in the property windows on the bottom of the DW window. oddly, you can also do it via the 'align' option from the 'text' menu (at least in DW MX)

Would there be a reason why it wouldn't let me do it? I have a block of test down at the bottom I want a picture in but it won't seem to center...

posting a link to the problematic page would be helpful. it's possible, but i'd just have to keep guessing without actually seeing it.

The first five posts from a new member of the forum are held until released by a moderator. It's the first ten if there's a link in a post. This is done to cut down on spam. You just have to be patient and wait for a mod to see your post.

I released your first post and removed the duplicates.

One way to do it is with center tags.
View> Code and Design> locate this in your code:

    Code:
    <p><label><img src="woman_beach.jpg" alt="" width="211" height="242" /></label></p>
    And insert center tags:

    Code:
    <p><center><label><img src="woman_beach.jpg" alt="" width="211" height="242" /></label></center></p>
I don't know why you have it in a form but whatever works.

The center tags have been depreciated and may not work for everyone. Replace opening center tag with div style="text-align:center" and the closing center tag with the closing div tag. Or remove the center tags and include align="center" in your img tag.
