    You need to click on the table name then Operations.
    At the bottom you will see

    * Check table Documentation
    * Analyze table Documentation
    * Repair table Documentation
    * Optimize table Documentation
    * Flush the table ("FLUSH") Documentation

    You can do check to see if the table is OK and do Repair to fix the table.

    You can do all the tables by clicking on the DB name and checking all the tables and selecting the operation from the drop down box.

    See Brandon's gallery which gets the same error. He optimized his database and still gets the error.

    It sounds like some tables that crashed are now beyond repair with the Repair link in phpmyadmin.

    Do you have any undamaged backups of your database? You can drop and (re)create a table by simply copying the SQL query from your backup.

    If that doesn't work, you may need to reinstall the entire script and start with a NEW database. Then import your database or as many tables as you can.

    That sucks, any reason why it would crash just out of no where like that?

    It's like when you need to reformat your hard drive when your Windows OS gets corrupted. Even if you regularly check and optimize your database, this can happen.

    When Windows OSes get corrupted, I usually run a repair. I hate reloading.

    Mark, your gallery just loaded though one of the images doesn't appear. Did you do anything special? Update: the final image did finally load.
