    Gallery 2

    For the life of me I can't set up password/users for my gallery. see www.mumnut.com
    Can someone with the patience of Job walk me through this.

    You should have created an admin account during the install. You'll have to log in using that account. To me, it looks like the application is set up not to accept new accounts.

    I did that, and tried to set up some user accts with password, and a guestuser but must be doing something wrong on that page because I (administrator) am the only one that can see the pictures I have there.

    I don't use Gallery but Coppermine. The learning curve was less.

    If someone else doesn't answer your question soon, I'll load Gallery 2 to one of my domains and see if I can figure it out.

    Could it be 'session file' problems that are besetting others? I don't know enough to trouble shoot, but do know that others are having session problems, particularly the writing of details in the file.

    Something's wrong with the install. I just installed and created a test user and it was able to see the photos. Also could view them after logging out.

    I couldn't even pull up the page where I added users and passwords. Maybe I should just try coppermine,

    I use Coppermine and it works fairly well. I added users and some of them weren't too technically savvy.
