    Dreamweaver and Symantec FireWall Issue

I usually use a dreamweaver to connect the ftp.powweb.com
but I got a new firewall from Symantec EndPoint
and it wouldn't let the dreamweaver connect to the ftp.powweb.com
and it doesn't interrupt other applications, like filezilla.
I know it is because of the Symantec firewall because the dreamweaver has no problem with connecting to the ftp.powweb.com when this firewall is down.
how do i set up the firewall correctly so it wouldn't interrupt the dreamweaver's ftp protocol?

ps. dreamweaver's ftp protocol seems not to be effected by the Symantec Firewall when it connects to SFTP server.

Make a rule to allow dreamweaver.exe in/out on to all IP's

the rule is configured already and it's not working.
The thing is (and i think this is pretty interesting,)
I have two web hosting services. one of them uses SFTP, and this powweb uses ftp protocol, and dreamweaver works perfectly fine for the sftp server, but not the ftp.powweb.com.
I do not know any other ftp server so i could figure out if the powweb ftp is the only thing that doesn't work, or this symptom is general to all ftp protocol accessed by dreamweaver.

As you figured out Powweb has no SFTP available. Try switching between passive/non-passive modes in Dreamwewaver and check your "allow" rule in your Symantec Firewall settings again. Symantec is a resource hog and pain in the butt.
