The following announcement was released Dec 18. For those that are unaware, previously cgi had to be enabled before any cgi, php, perl, or other scripting language pages would function. These scripts will now be functional out of the box with no additional effort needed.

If you have a guestbook, page counter, shopping cart, or other interactive program on your Web site, chances are you've had to manually enable CGI (Common Gateway Interface) before installing the application(s).

As part of our ongoing effort to provide our customers with a simplified and straightforward hosting experience, we have eliminated the manual enable step for CGI. For all new customers, and for any additional accounts you sign up going forward, CGI will be automatically enabled.

And, over the next few weeks, we will auto-enable CGI for existing customers who have not yet enabled it!
