    Need a little help with formmail

    Hi,

    I am having trouble with my website not displaying my thank you page after submitting a form. I would appreciate anyone looking at it and helping me figure out why.

    Here is a link to the page.
    http://hudmike.com/MustangSearch.html

    You can go to the form page here http://www.hudmike.com/UntitledFrame-5.htm

    Note.. name telephone and email are the only required fields.
    If you fill out the form, please use test for your name or email so I know its a test.
    The page is still live beacuse the forms are submitting to me, just not displaying my thank you page afterward.

    Thanks in advance.
    Mike

    this could be related to some of the other problems people have been reporting releated to header redirects.

    saveform/formmail problems

    We have the same problem. While the perl script SaveForm.pl works by validating incorrect fields it does not redirect a user to a correct page and simply displays empty page.

    Redirection seems to be causing a lot of people problems. You're not alone.

    Thanks for the imput!

    Thanks to everyone for the answers. I copied the form from a page that worked. Now it isn't working either. If anyone figures out a workaround, let me know.

    Mike,
    While we all are waiting for a solution, you may want temporarily to replace

    <FORM METHOD="post" ACTION="/cgi-bin/SaveForm.pl">
    with
    <FORM action="your_target_page_url" method="post">

    Of course you will not receive info from a user but at least a user will be able to continue to use your site. Hope we will get a real solution from POWWEB soon.

    Thanks Jacob

    Thanks Jacob

    To save me some time researching, what exactly does that do?

    It's not a real solution but rather an illusion for a user. The form still works from a user perspective and redirects a user to a correct page. However, it does not send the entered data to you. We have to wait but unfortunately after two days there are still no answers from POWWEB. Probably we should start looking for a replacement for SaveForm.

    Good news - redirect with SaveForm.pl works again in an old good fashion!

    my form wasnt working up until yesterday when they fixed something, now it is - your original code should work fine. If it does not, check to make sure the form still works and redirecting to the thank you page does not, check your code, then submit a ticket with support.

    I do use the same script, FWIW.

    Its working now!

    Thanks Everyone, I appreciate your help.
    It made me feel much better to know others were having the same problem and to know it was powwebs problem. This kept me from wasting more time trying to fix it.
