Sugar CRM; Bad Permissions canīt upgrade

    Hello people,

Installed a fresh version of SugarCRM, the lastest via Install Central. Everything seemed to be OK, until I wanted to use the Upgrade function. (need to install some packages, specifically language ones).

Upgrade mod presents me with a system settings-check routine, halting with an error:

    Code:
    File Issues:
File Permissions	: Show Files with Bad Permissions
    File Name	Permissions	Owner	Group
    /hermes/..../..../pow.user/htdocs/CRM_Sugar/cgi-bin	0755	root	root
I go then to my favorite FTP client, try a CHMOD and get an error: can't change permissions to cgi-bin. (That dir is empry btw)

Does anyone knows a workaround for this? I can't get past that stage.
Every time I create a subdomain powweb puts that directory on it's root (even if the path is a subdir inside another directory).

    Thanks !

Did you try to CHMOD through the PowWeb control panel?

THANK YOU ! That resolved the issue

Thought I get the same security clearance on the FTP.
