    another subdomain/addon folder question

The other thread was closed or I would have asked there. Can you or anyone tell me if the search engines tend to treat websites like they are independent, if they are on addons or subdomains? Like if my main site is dogshavefleas.com and I did a different website about elephants as an addon, would they bracket the sites together in the search results?

Two sites I operate are on one account, and each has a 'their own' domain name. Search engines see them as 'separate entities', even though technically they are username.powweb.com and username.powweb.com/the_other_site/. I think this is what you're asking..

Great. Let me add that you can use the Domain Pointer in OPS, or edit an .htaccess file manually to do this. Myself, I'd suggest using the Domain Pointer, although either (and surely not both) methods will work.
