How to redirect to new domain?

    Hi,
I recently bought a new domain and want to redirect to it from my old domain. However, the current 301 redirect solutions I've been reading about don't apear to do what I want to happen.

When users type in www.olddomain.com/special.htm, I want the URL to visibly change to www.newdomain.com/special.htm. I've tried 301 redirect but that doesn't seem to change the URL, only redirects them to that address without showing them that they're going to the new address.

    Help?

If 'special.htm' is to be the same page on each domain then no redirection is needed if you add the new domain to the Powweb package you already have,

If newdomain.com is to have different content to olddomain.com then using the domain pointing tool is the easiest option at Powweb.

    Just add
    Code:
    redirect 301 / newdomain.com
at the beginning of your .htaccess.
