    html as php

I want to add functionality to some pages without changing them from html to php.

I added a line below to the htaccess file to do this but it doesn't appear to be working.

I added this line: AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .html .htm

    Is this line incorrect?
Do I need to place it in a certain order to other things.
    Is this not allowed?
Is there another way I should be doing this?

I have this in the htaccess for one of my sites (not hosted here):
    Code:
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm
I assume if you need the .html extension you could add it to that line. It works for me on that other server, no guarantees about here.

Good luck and Happy New Year,
