Powweb & Android App
I am wondering / looking at designing an android / IOS app to connect with a MYSQL database.
1) Is this allowed on powweb ? I googleed & saw another provider that prevented external products from accessing the MYSQL database.
Is this the same on Powweb ?
2) if it is possible to create an app connecting to Powwebs MYSQL aserver, has anyone found a good tutorial for it ?
I've found a few tutorials / services, but their demonstrations / videos do not advise how to connect to a MYSQL database.
what i'm looking for is a tutorial on
:- Logging in/out (accessing MYSQL to verify password)
:- Enquire on basic details (name, address, email address etc)
:- Add / update details -
I think i only need 2-3 separate / different pages in my app to show different information.
I'll only push / connect with the database once a day or something (or manually).
As far as I can remember, the database isn't externally accessible directly. If my memory is correct, you'd need to be accessing it via a webpage / script as is done with wordpress etc.

Thanks. Ive made a comment on their forum. Though i do not think its going to work - as it is STILL an external script/process trying to access a powweb MYSQL database.
