Images are not appearing when uploading.

Don't know if anyone can assist me or not, but here it goes:

    Using FP 2003.
When I upload my site to <<removed>>, everything comes up on my site except the photos (thumbnails) and the bullets that I used to create my site.

What's strange is that when I click where the thumbnail should be, the larger size image does come up, so that part is working fine.

    I have tried

    1. Making sure the path name and the image name are exact.
    2. Deleting the thumbnail gallery and using a table instead.

Still, both of these have not solved the issue.

Any idea why images aren't appearing on my site.

Firstly, you're not hosted here so solutions suggested may not work elsewhere.

Check the paths of the images that aren't showing. They seem to contain many levels of sub-directory. Check that the images are in the right places.

The thumbnails should reside in the location indicated when you do a 'right click' and 'properties' on the thumbnail. Not all the thumbnails (blanked) lead to images either. Again, suggesting that they've been uploaded to the wrong location.

How did you upload? Did you FTP them or did you use the FP 2003 facility to 'publish site'?

    Have you enabled FP extensions?

I will try some of these.

I uploaded using the <removed> FTP.
I am not sure <removed> still allows the user to download the FP extensions.

It's really frustrating. On the Gallery page I tried starting over and can't get the denim shot to appear.
I tried placing all my files in one folder before uploading.
Maybe it would help if I started over and used Expression 4 to create the image gallery.

Check carefully that the folders referred to in the paths for the images (thumbnails and full size) are available and that the correct images are in those folders.

I think you are correct in saying that you should use something other than FP2003 which is old and not supported by Microsoft or others.

Your website looks like it could be created in many different ways, so investigate
Wordpress and other online systems too.

I would suggest you to stop using FrontPage rather try using Weebly(its quite easy to build) if WorPress is tougher for you . I do remember something like re-calculate hyperlinks (something like that) in FrontPage may give it a try
