Question Naked domains, www and cNames

    Hello,
I'm doing a little troubleshooting here. I have been recently reading a little on "naked domains" vs "www domains". The reason for this is I'm currently setting up a WordPress site for the old ship I was on in the Navy and have been getting logged out as I'm working in the dashboard. I have found several articles that say the www is actually a subdomain of our site and they suggest redirecting the naked domain (site.org) to (www.site.org).

What are your thoughts on this? Think this may be the reason for me getting logged out? I'm pretty sure that I have found every setting I could in WordPress and set it to www.
    Thanks,
    Barry

Login to your WordPress dashboard and go to Settings General.

Check if you have the same URL in your Site Address and WordPress Address fields in your WordPress settings. This means that you need to choose either www or a non-www URL in the both fields.

It may also be a plugin as Wordpress core uses cookies not php for sessions. Have you tried completely dumping your cache/cookies after the changes?
