    Filezilla ftp settings not working.

    Hi,

I am having real problems connecting to my site using FileZilla. I followed the instructions as outlined at this link... http://www.powweb.com/knowledgebase/...ArticleID=1393

When I click (in Filezilla) on "Quickconnect", nothing happens. No error message, so connection - nothing!

I have checked and triple checked the host, username and password details. Closed and restarted FileZilla, I have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

I have screen captures but there doesn't seem to be any way to attached them here and I am unable to copy/paste. Let me know if I you need them.

    Thanks,
    Violet.

Hi Violet, check in OPS to see if the master account is enabled. You can verify your password there. You can also try a connection using ftp://ftp.powweb.com/ in Windows Explorer.

If these fail the fasted solution will be to contact Powweb Chat. http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...51396&byhref=1

i can get in - using filezila But FREQUENTLY, i get blank file-directories, or missing files... if i refresh the FTP programme again, the files appear..

ALSO - if i upload or download, i occasionally get partial files sent/received. (if i edit the plain text files i may not realise that its only a partial file).
