Graphics not displaying in Wordpress
I have installed a wordpress platform and for some strange reason the graphics are refusing to display - although the html is okay and pointing to the file that exists on the server.
For example, this is the graphics html: HTML Code:
The header image won't display either! So what's the problem? I have wordpress platforms on other hosting accounts and have never experienced this problem before. Thanks for reading. The graphics are not displaying on my newly installed Wordpress platform even though the path to the uploaded graphis are correct and the graphic files are sitting there on the server. So what's the deal? I have installed numerous Wordpress platforms on other servers and have never experienced this problem before. it is a server side problem becaus e indentical set up work fine on other sevrers. Anyone else suffering this problem with Powweb? Last edited by IanS; 2-17-12 at 10:14 AM.. Reason: Merging 2 similar posts |

Welcome!
but......don't be so quick to jump to conclusions ![]() If you've done 'numerous' installations you'll know each server is not setup in an identical way and that what works with one host isn't always the same with another. Did you use 'Install Central' or install it yourself? If it was a 'server' problem, you'd see a lot more posts here. You've used the full path to the images, have you tried using other paths - relative ones or serverside ones?

Put an index file in that directory (http://getabuzzon.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/), or this line Options +Indexes in a .htaccess file for that directory.

Same problem
I am having the same problem for our site: www.manaleohcf.org. We began testing the current site on another hosting service and everything works fine. All the images show up fine and generally looks great.
I have triple checked all our settings but still our images won't load on the site and I'm completely baffled as to why. We are using version 3.3.2 of Wordpress. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. Added: We have tried multiple things, triple checked settings and did two clean installs of wordpress but to no avail. The image may be uploaded in to a folder, but the resulting URL:
http://getabuzzon.com/wp-content/upl...roma-girrl.jpg Is not loading an image. That's why it's not being displayed on your site. I'd check the domain pointer, to make sure the domain is correctly pointed, for example, to the subfolder where Wordpress is installed. For the second customer, I'm seeing images loading on: http://www.manaleohcf.org/ without apparent difficulty. |
