FTP uploading problem...

i am using Coffee Cup Direct FTP program- have used it for years with no problem...
however now i am unable to upload and am getting the error message
that user name and password are incorrect.

i have checked and rechecked both and have VERIFIED with Pow web..
"Success logging into ftp.powweb.com with credentials supplied"

i am connecting using -- ftp.surcularsouls.com--- with my FTP username and password.

can anyone figure this out??? i am in GREAT NEED to upload to my site and dont know how to fix this....

[they are also correct on the coffee cup server]

You might try a different FTP client as both a check on your current one and as a backup. I always keep 2 on my computer, but mostly I like one for major changes and the other for quick edits -- don't ask me why. Anyhow, FileZilla comes highly recommended around here.

Good luck,
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...
but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying,
"Damn... that was fun!"

appreciate your advice-- will go and check out FileZilla

try using ftp.powweb.com instead of your domain name? you can also try to use the FTP in a browser (ftp.powweb.com) to test settings and such.
