Your password must have
A capital/UPPER CASE letter, a lower case letter, a 2 numbers and a special charact such as !$& and be over 8 and less than 12 characters long. It takes a while. You should also be able to get the system to send your current password to your non-powweb address that you registered with Powweb (you did do that when signing up like they recommended didn't you!)

Hi Ian thanks for answering
I have been with PW for 4 yrs and no problems. This time it as I explained. PW has given me a new password which doesnt work they say it is my pc. With the popup being from wind exp I think there is something maybe in my settings that is causing the problem filters, addons etc but I cant seem to find what the problem is I am not a brain when it comes to pc stuff |

Where are you going to in order to log onto Powweb?
If you're logging in from the http://www.powweb.com site then you should get a message about the password not being correct or the user name not matching a valid one. It sounds as if you're in a page trying to reset your password.

Your password must: * be at least 6 characters long * contain at least one lower case letter and one upper case letter * contain at least two numbers * contain at least one special character ( one of !@#$%^&*?_~,./<>?-=_+()[]{};:`|\"') * not be the same as your username * not be the same as your recent passwords From recent experience, the "two numbers" rule is probably the one most likely not to be followed. If you still can't get in, you'll need to contact support for assistance, but I'm 99% sure you're just not picking a password that follows the above rules. |

When did they add the 2 numbers policy? I changed my password not too long ago and it still was just one number.

Thanks every one for responding.
I have been in comu with PW several times on this I picked a password which they said was ok and thay set it on my account. Stll when i try to login to PW home it redirects to a page saying password is incorrect. If i try to rest password That is when the popup saying password is not strong enough. Password is not the problem as i am very aware of criteria for passwrd Been member of PW for 4 yrs. PW support says it is in my pc It happens on IE 7 and on FF browsers. I Have tried agusting filters addons and I am lost. I still think it is a PW glitch |

Glad to see that you've sorted it. It's sometimes the simplest of mistooks that are hardest to find.
