Domain Renewal Costs

Why are the renewal costs for a domain name so high?

I have 20+ Domain names and they all keep renewing at close to $25.00

This is triple the cost of most other providers.

Is it more worthwhile to purchase elsewhere and point to powweb?

Powweb is not a registrar, Tucows I believe is the actual registrar and Powweb resells that service.

That is kind of a rhetorical question, is it not? To provide an answer though I will say pointing from another registrar is possible, but in other cases, it might be easier (from whatever standpoint(s)) even though more expensive to use Powweb for this.

If you have "Domain privacy" (or whatever they call it) that adds ~$10 to each domain that has it enabled. Sometimes it's worth it, sometimes not. Your call .

Yes it would be worth your while switching.

Unless you (or your clients) prefer everything viewable and payable in OPS.
