You're right about the page itself, it's BFU.
Total time for graphics and mp3, on a dialup connection running at 49.3 was 4 minutes 18 seconds. |

What you may want to look into is either a javascript applet or flash applet that you could use to gauge the download of the "music" so that someone knows that it's coming.
Time: approx 25 seconds on cable. |
