Looks like the boats are your big ticket item.
I didn't see them the first time around.
In that case I'd give them their own button on the NAV line and perhaps make "clothing" or "outdoors" subservient to another page.

I have to agree with Morning Glory, you need to put your boats into an easier place to find.

With all of the kayakers, duck hunters and fishermen in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming, your boats need to be easier to find.

You might want to do some image resizing as well. Having photos that are between 75 and 105 kilobytes each sure makes for a slow loading page when your visitor is on a dialup connection. Too many people will not wait around for a slow loading page, and you could lose a potential sale that way.

The physical size of the photos are not bad, but the overall file size is what is slowing your page loads down to a crawl (for the dialup users like me).

I'm not sure how to change my file of my pics so they load faster? should I have each pic in it's own file?

No, what is needed is to resize some of the pics to fit what your page is calling for, and compress each pic file a bit smaller.

If you don't have a graphics program to do this, you can get Irfanview for free. It's a great little program for handling photos and graphics.

As an example, your "banner2.jpg" logo is now 65kb in file size. Just by opening it and resaving it in Irfanview it came down to a size of 15kb without losing any quality.

Your fullkayak2.jpg is over 100kb in file size, and 800x400 in overall size. You are using the <img src> tag to resize it to 640x400. Instead of doing that, resize the picture to fit your needs. That will also keep the pics for becoming distorted on your page.

I downloaded and I'm not sure how to use it .when I set up pic file i'm not sure how to compress it down like you said .. remember I'm just a nail pounder ...It looks like photoshop works kinda the same way but with this program I still get a quality problem.. I'm lost

Your getting there

Your "fullkayak2.jpg" is still about around 94kb, still 800x500 is physical size and you are "resizing" it to 640x400 with your <img> tag.

If you have Photoshop or with Irfanview, you can open the image and resize it to the 640x400 without any loss in quality. This should make the file size much smaller.

The pages ARE loading faster on my dialup connection now, and I did clear my cache so it would be a fresh view.
