Ohhhh, yeah baby... critique me!

Hey folks,

This site is being designed for a company that helps place mentally retarded and physically handicapped individuals in jobs and in homes. The company offers MANY MANY services to folks with special needs. With that in mind, let me know how the design fits that description. Also check it out in all the browsers you have so I know how it's working for those of you using Opera, etc.

Without more to look at, I'd say it looks fine. The color scheme is subdued and professional and it looks like you're gonna carry that through the other pages. It loaded fast and looked good on xp, w2k, and w98 all running various versions of ie6.

Yes, but I'm partial to blue tones. You might make it lighter in either case. It's hard to see the backgrounds in the various scenes. You can make out that they are pictures, but don't ask my tired old eyes to distinguish anything.

I hope you don't plan on using the term "mentally retarded" That is antiquaited and derogetory these days it's mentaly handicapped or ABI (aquired brain injury) The template colours look fine, am sure you can squeeze the fat out of the 'choice 04.gif' at 27kb. especially if you plan to use it on all pages.

Good start.
I'd continue with that.
