Invision or YaBB?
Not sure where this topic goes, but....
I am thinking of installing a Yabb but i read in several post that it uses too much server resource and I have agood chance of having my site shut down. so should i go w/ an invision power board instead? i already have mysql on my account. what are you opinions? |

Go with YaBBSE its like Yabb but its php and mysql instead of perl like Yabb. It is much faster than yabb and uses less resources www.yabbse.org

Go with invision. Its awsome the amount of costomising you can do to it and the ease of it. Its what i use and the only thing i would ever use.

i have used phpbb & invision on all 3 of my boards, but for my new one, i decided to go with vbulletin. so far I like it. it's easier to customize the templates and appearance.
