Ok I'm a dumb ***..
I have read the thing on Streaming Real Media Via HTTP at the Powweb sit a least 50 times and still know nothing.. what and where is the virtual server?? and can some one tell me where I can find some more down to earth instructions on how to do this. all help is welcome.. Hi,
I think you shouldn't worry about that. Only: - Open your notepad and write: http://www.yourdomain.com/sounds/rm/file.rm Then save it as file.ram and upload it at your sounds folder, (i.e.: http://www.yourdomain.com/sounds) Don't forget to upload the rm file at a rm folder (i.e.: http://www.yourdomain.com/sounds/rm) Then, somewhere, put a link to http://www.yourdomain.com/sounds/file.ram It will call http://www.yourdomain.com/sounds/rm/file.rm and it will sound as "streaming audio". That's easy. It will work! |
