OS Commerce install failed

Hola,
I ran through the configuration for OS commerce but when I get to step 2, I get the following error:

Step 2: osCommerce Configuration

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

The error message returned is:

Table 'mojodb.configuration' doesn't exist

Please click on the Back graphic to review your database server settings.

If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company.

My database is alread set up and is called mojodb. Is this a database that should already exist?

My mysql server as far as I know is the same server I FTP to, is that correct? In which case it is lunar.powweb.com.

My https server I am not certain about. Would that be lunar.powweb.com as well?

Hi Guys,

I had the problem you describe. The sql server is different from your site ftp server.

in my case it was mysql02.powweb.com & www.w******d.co.uk

When you come to use SSL thats another setting. You can find this in your member ops >package (webdomain)

Once you get it goin its quite good, and there are lots of add ons.

I'm on the old architecture too (Callisto), and I just signed up for MySQL expecting it to go to Callisto, but instead they threw me on mysql03.

You may want to double check which server you're on in ops.

I checked in my ops and under the mysql tab it states that lunar.powweb.com is my mysql server. So I guess it is my server for both.

I looked for the SSL information again in ops and did not find it.
You said it was in Ops > package > webdomain ?
I don't have the webdomain option. I tried domain and looked at every one of my other packages and still did not see any information regarding the SSL server.
Mayhaps I need to try to reinstall SSL?

Yes, it should already exist on your mysql server. If you haven't already set one up with that name, do so. Also, you have to specify the correct username and password (case sensitive) for the database.

I found out what the issue was.... or at least the workaround.

I had no data to import so I always unchecked the 'import catalog data' checkbox.

Apparently it needs to do this, even if you don't have any data to import. Once I kept this checked, the whole thing worked.
