Won't install

Tried to install the osCommerce. Says it unpacks the files ok and to install you click the click here link.

Thats where it stops... IE says it can't find the server.

http://bugvisor.netdirectory/catalog/install/install.php
Page cannot be displayed

Should I inform support or anyone else had this problem and there is a simple fix??

Thx

Looks to me as if you made an error in filling out the form - something's missing a slash after your domain name.

the form

I'm purdy sure I didn't fill in anything wrong, only gave it the info it asked for.

Like I say... The setup says it unpacks ok and the script fills in the redirect, wich is what I copy/pasted in the first message.

I'll go back and try the setup again.

Thx for ur reply, appreciate it

The files were successfully unpacked, but becasue the leading slash was not present in the setup they were unpacked to a directory called "htdocsosdirectory" in your root directory. The missing leading slash is also what broke the next step of the setup:

http://bugvisor.netdirectory/catalog/install/install.php
(I removed the real directory name from the path so people don't know where to find your install script.)

When you run the install again be sure to keep the leading slash in the path field.

I found you have to pay very careful attention to the examples that PowWeb's install form suggests. You can't take all the defaults and punctuation matters!
