Question E-Commerce for a Fruit and Veggie shop

Hi

I have been asked to set up a Website with E-commerce features for a friends Fruit and Veggie shop. They do not require Card transaction at this point, payment by cheque. It would be a huge database, with items etc an example is the address below:
www.fancyfruit.com.au.

I have not done this type of Website before and basically if somebody out there could be point me in the right direction , would be good.

Thankyou,

Michelle. Melbourne. Australia

Well, osCommerce would work. If you didn't mind the generic osCommerce look to the store, you could get it going with a few days effort. Finding all the places you have to change to "brand" it as your own is one of the harder aspects.

osCommerce supports "pay by cheque" out-of-the-box.
