DreamWeaver, Flash

I just purchased bot the above programs, Does anyone know of a good online tutorial or help site for them? The help provided with the software is pretty basic.

flash tut

I have found this one to be helpful for not only flash but many programs that deal with web development.

I personally don't use either program, but I hear http://flashkit.com is a good resource for flash.

hello:

here are some links for flash:
Flash Magazine
Some sample tutorials (both Flash and DW4)
Action Scripts

as for dw4, this site shows a lot of links, but i've never gone to any of them.

i use dw4 and fireworks mostly, although i have a little flash on my site, so i can't really attest to the plethora (or lack thereof) on these sites. i've just bookmarked them to remind myself of something i need to learn.

i also have the visual quickstart guides for dw4 and flash5 (as well as fireworks4), and i've found those to be invaluable reference books--and not too expensive either.

hope this helps.

I would also check on the Macromedia Website frequently. They have a couple tutorials and also provide several user groups. These groups are very active and I found a lot of useful advice there.

Google.com http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=e...ia.dreamweaver has a message archive for macromedia products. This is a very convenient way to find answers to problems.

The Dreamweaver Bible and Flash Bible are two very good books. Both available at Amazon for $ 34 each.

Good luck,

Joanne

Thousands of free ebooks can be found in this post:

I'm SURE you can find a free ebook or doc that will help you with flash.

And sit out in the fountain, splashing 'round until its dark.
The days on forever when you only know that much,
And everything I need to know is answered with one touch.
