comments on new layout

I have just completed my new graphic layout that will spead the entire website. There is no content or links that function for the demo. This is strickly a test for checking the resolutions and space being used. Also to check if netscape doesn't screw it up...

Feed back would be most appreciated.....

That's really nice, and I accidentally looked at the old one too, so the new design is certainly an improvement.

The preloader works really well, a short wait: then BAM!!!

Netscape on the Mac displayed the left text slightly smaller, and you could try and fix this, but really, who cares. IE is now the better browser, and it takes a stubborn mind to keep using Netscape. EVERY page shows up with this smaller text these days. It's more than accepted....

If you ever really want to control text sizes, you can use a CSS style sheet and set the height to pixels. This over-rides the users default font size and makes everything exactly the same size, which is either a good thing or a bad thing. If you don't use CSS it's worth a look, but only really out of interest/curiosity. The new site looks great as it is.

bfc

example CSS:
<style media="screen" type="text/css"><!--
p { color: #cccccc; font-size: 12px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, Swiss, SunSans-Regular, "Times New Roman", Georgia, Times }
body { color: #cccccc; font-size: 12px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, Swiss, SunSans-Regular }
--></style>
