Renewing Transferred Domains...

I didn't get my domain from Powweb.com, it was transferred. It expires on January 3, 2004, how do I renew it?

What is the .com name?

If it doesn't appear in OPS and you don't have an account at 15domains.com I can only imagine you will need to log into your account at the registrar and do it through there.

If you did not register your domain with PowWeb, you go to the current registrar to renew. PowWeb doesn't accept transfers in, so you could not have transferred the registration to PowWeb.

If the domain in question is world-wrestling.net, your registrar is Network Solutions, and you would go to their site to renew. (Though, personally, I detest Network Solutions.) However, this domain doesn't even point to PowWeb, so maybe you have something else in mind.

world-wrestling.net expires February 4. It is probably too late to transfer it to another registrar if you wanted, as transfers within 30 days of renewal are usually blocked, but after you renew with Network Solutions, you can transfer it away and not lose any registration time (because transfers always extend the expiration date.) Alternate registrars to consider include godaddy.com and registerfly.com

Appears that your registrar is eNom. Try logging in at http://www.enom.com/ and renew for another year. To be safe you should renew at your current registrar first, then transfer if you want to.

Greetings,

You changed the DNS to point to Powweb and your web site is hosted at Powweb, however the domain name registration is still with avahost.net according to the who-is report. So you will renew the domain name with them. They probably have a control panel to accomplish the renewal., or you could call them.

It's common to have the domain name hosted one place and the web site hosted a different place.

You can see the who-is report and the contact information here

Happy New Year!
