hey,
i've been doing the same thing for a while and may be able to help you out. first thing is your fonts, i don't know why, but they seem condensed, second it the color scheme, lots of color in the header and footer, yet none in the body. lt blue and gold, go for something more corporate, lt blue and grey or green, it will go a long way in giving you the feel of a mature company) another thing is the header graphic, getting some jaggedness along the curve.

if you are designing web sites, remember that no matter what your style you have to appeal to a lot of people. less is more, keep your layout simple, use examples to show off your skill, don't get too complicated/fancy with your company site. Get people in, let them know what you do, and show them what you can do. if it's not a "great" don't show it off. better to be the new talented team rather than the guys that did that so-so site a while ago. hope this gives you some ideas.

I agree with oatesj77's comments. It is difficult to comment on a website that says it is under construction on your home page and services page! Information is why people visit business websites. The site looks like it was created with a WYSIWYG editor and your title and meta tags need to be customized for each page AFTER you have the text contents completed.

The Home link could appear at the top of your navigation menu on the left instead of floating on the right side of the screen. Also, there is a big white space on the right side in a higher screen resolution. The color scheme is unusual and the logo looks like a sports logo.

I can really only comment on the design since the contents are not there yet. But with so many competitor sites from which to choose, yours may be overlooked. Be sure to use a larger font size and a better font style. Though you want your important text to be seen first and read, you can still have a little vertical scrolling.

The punctuation marks in the header graphic only means something to us computer geeks and not your target audience. Please consider what appeals to your target audience. And include more contact information such as your address, telephone number and business hours if possible. You will appear more accessible and trustworthy.

The site takes too long to load. I skipped the intro, so I never saw it. I got into the website and there is a big white space at the top, the logo at the bottom of the screen, and I have to scroll to finally read text. The music eventually played and I am not sure that you are able to use that music. Did you get permission to use it?

Paragraphs of text should align to the left for languages that read from left to right. There isn't much info in the website. The contact us page has a form and no contact info! Your name, address, phone number, fax number, email address and business hours should appear here. To be listed on DMOZ, you must have this info.

It has a contemporary business look, but it just doesn't have enough information to make me interested.

Agree with the above...the intro is WAY TO SLOW (sorry for the caps)...if it even loaded at all (waited 4 minutes on cable). An intro should be an intro, very quick and to the point. I've seen entire flash sites load within one minute. A flash intro is not always great, since search engines don't see anything...and pass on.

Some text (like an intro) should be loaded first thing when you see the page...instead of blank space.

I finally see what you were trying to do with the menu in the middle. And it is different...but you are supplying services to people that can't design sites and may not be computer savvy. Keep it simple...and maybe include this design in some kind of showcase.

Just my opinions

If I were looking for a web designer and found your site, my first impression would be that you only know how to design a menu bar and look elsewhere for a designer. Not to mention that on a 512 DSL connection, I never saw an "Intro" other than the "Skip Intro" text. In my opinion, a design site should never use an "Intro" page, you should use textual content informing the visitor why they should choose your company over the 500,000 other ones doing the same thing.
