Lightbulb Web browser (featuring Webmaster's Forums Directory)

ForumSet 1.0 is a new release web browser whose starting page opens up to a collection / directory of 30+ "mega" webmaster's forum. Good for webmasters who enjoy taking part in forums, but would like to save time searching for them. This browser can also be used as a normal web browser. (Now available FREE)

While your Forum directory is a nice resource and I'm sure that many will find it useful, I'm not sure why anyone would need a special browser for it.

There are advantages:

1) One click convenience: One click is all you need to bring you to the forum directory. No need to hunt for the link to the directory anymore (I for one have tens of links in my favorite folder and find it hard to hunt down the ones I need)

2) Focus: Since this browser opens up to a forum directory - people who would find it useful would be those who always participate in such forums. They would be more focused on the forums and perhaps less likely to wander off to sites unrelated to forums. Even if they do, just one click of the button will bring them back to the forum.

3) Variety: (nothing related to forums) ... but it's quite fun to try something new. Seeing the normal IE browser everyday is a bit boring & this new browser is fully functional as a normal web browser (but very much more simpler with few buttons and a wider window).

No installation is needed - just download and run.

Personally, I use different browsers for different purposes. I've a browser for all my webmails (more than 10+), a browser for all my online transaction needs, a browser which I used to monitor my affiliate programs, my education needs and more.

These browsers go on a CDrom, which I carry with me and run on any Win2000 or XP computer. In other words, I do not need my laptop to access my links! I still work with my familiar browsers even when running them on an unfamiliar computer.
